"Room was not as described online, 2 single beds instead of a double (states online that the room sleeps 3, but nowhere for a 3rd person to sleep - lucky there was only 2 of us), smell of stale smoke as soon as you enter the room, no toilet roll provided, no towels provided, unclean room and balcony and incredibly run down, states online that parking is 5 euro per night and they expect 10 euro per night when you arrive. We are not fussy people and often sleep in hostels but this is not a 3 star ‘hotel’ - it should be a 1 star! "

The space was an underground car space that was very difficult to park in as the space was very tight and had to reverse all way out up a ramp to get out of. "I put the hotel name in my SatNav, it took me to a blocked street. I got out, walked around, eventually finding the hotel. At the hotel, check-in was poor, I got my car, came back and was met by somebody who, well, did nothing. I joined a long queue of elderly folk settling their accounts, and once at the front, the guy who did nothing then seeks to check me in - after I have waited....
The room had AC, but could only go as low as 19C, so it took a long time to cool, the room was hot & sticky. So sticky I took my shirt off and sat on the bed with my laptop on my knee to work. I could not get the WiFi to work, so had to hotspot via my cellphone. During this time, my naked back was against the bed's headboard which had a foam/plastic covering. When I moved, this stuck to me, peeling off the headboard, I had to scrape it off my back! When I checked out I spoke of these things to the reception.....they laughed at me."

"This property was beyond our expectations. Not only were the staff friendly always, the hotel gave back to its guests. Unusual in my experience. Breakfast and beach lounges included in the room rate. Pop sickles or watermelon passed out to cool you while you sunbathe as well as water. Live music every evening. "I came to Hotel Aida with my Dad for two nights. Our rooms were ready on arrival at 1pm and Giovanni out us in rooms next to each other. All the staff wished us a warm welcome. The dining room was pleasant, the terrace was very comfortable and everything about the stay was just so welcoming. The rooms were clean and the housekeepers were nice. Honestly for a 3 star they were at the top end. Could not fault them at all. Thank you Giovanni and staff for such a lovely visit. "
