The hotel was just far enough off the main strip we didn’t hear the all the noise of any late night activities but still close enough we could walk to all shops and restaurants. If we ever make it back to Switzerland we will be looking to stay here again. "

"Fantastic room. Great balcony to view and enjoy The Matterhorn. Bed and bathroom wonderful. The bar staff was not really good at mixing a good drink. The breakfast was quite nice and good"
"Stayed at Hotel Chesa Valese for 5 nights recently and overall had a very good experience. There was a mix-up with the pickup time at first, but the staff were great and made up for it, so no complaints there. We ended up with what seemed like a bigger, more spacious room with loads of storage, and even a partial view of the Matterhorn tip, which was a nice surprise.
Only issue in the room was with the plug sockets. All of them were Swiss three-pin. I brought standard EU two-pin plugs which usually work fine (they worked on the train), but for some reason they didn’t fit here. Reception gave us two adapters straight away, which was really helpful.
Breakfast officially starts at 7:30am, which felt a bit late, but they let us eat at 7am one morning when we had to leave early. That flexibility was appreciated.
The spa and sauna were excellent and definitely one of the highlights.
The staff were always very helpful throughout our stay, which really made a difference.
Only real downside was the WiFi. It wouldn’t work with a VPN, which was frustrating since I prefer not to use open networks. Luckily I had a data SIM so I managed, but it’s something to be aware of."

The only disappointed thing is that my room view of mountain is actually blocked by some of the houses and cannot see the full view from the room which is unexpected.
And be aware that you have to prepare some CHF cash as it is the only hotel that request me to pay city taxes by cash (all can be paid by credit card in other hotels)."
