"Hotel Good Nature Kyoto was wonderful. The room was comfortable, well designed and very spacious compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip. We loved the welcome sweets that were provided and the coffee. The location was fantastic, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. I would highly recommend! Our 10 year old daughter loved it as well- very great hotel for travelers of all ages."
"This hotel was a surprising little gem. Very modern and sleek design, yet charming. Very friendly and professional staff. Most surprising the restaurant in the hotel, that had a an excellent varied menu and cockltails and affordable prices. I would be very happy to stay at this lovely hotel again in the future."
"Modern hotel with a great relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Service at breakfast was exceptional. Well positioned for exploring Kyoto and some great food options close by. Would thoroughly recommend. "
"Fantastic rooms, the restaurant and bar was lovely. Had breakfast in our stay and there were plenty of options and a buffet style with pastry, bread and fruit. Staff were helpful and friendly! "
"Great hotel! Staff were super helpful, room was clean and quite modern. Had a great stay here and would highly recommend. Close to several stations and only a 15 min walk from Kyoto station if you’re picking up the bullet train."
"We loved this Tokyu Stay out of all the Tokyu Stays we've stayed at in Japan. The reason is the large lobby with the table and free water, hot water, coffee, and tea. The large table is just a nice place to rest after a long day and there's also a bathroom in the lobby. If you've been traveling a long time, you will recognize what a plus this isn a more budget style hotel. It's right in the middle of all the shopping in Karasuma, but just off to the side so you don't feel overwhelmed by capitalism. It's also quite close to the larger shops if you wanted to walk, it would not be that far. It's also close to bus lines. as there's a main road in the front and it's also a block and half from a subway. Unlike to Tokyo, Kyoto's public transportation is more...chill...so at times it feels like there are less options. Don't get me wrong, it's still a bustling city, but it kind of. feels like a large town that's forced to be a city. Any rate, we would stay at his hotel again. The service was above and beyond as they held our bags for over 3 weeks before sending them to Tokyo to meet us at our last destination. Truly helpful and kind workers. "
"Loved that it was located right in Kyoto station with the station directly beneath our hotel floor, and we couldn’t hear or feel a single train! Best sleep in a while!"
"Hotel was Amazing , clean no bedbugs and really close to the station as a central location in Kyoto it was brilliant.
Hotel staff were friendly the included breakfast at the Buffet was extremely enjoyable lots of choice.
Really enjoyed my stay .
My only bug bear was i ate Dinner one time in the restaurant and for what i got i could have got the same thing and quality cheaper at Kyoto station porta Dining.
Still the food was nice."
"This is my second time staying at this property and as with the first time it was a pleasure. The property is beautiful, clean, the staff cordial and helpful. The rooms are big, clean and the hotel happy hour is always a good fun.
This property is in the heart of Gion and its easy to walk to places or take a cab. "
"Excellent hotel. Very attentive staff and always someone who could speak English. Fantastic breakfast options with both Japanese and Westerns styles. We stayed 8 nights and did not get tired of the breakfast options. Room was spacious. Bathroom and room amenities plentiful. Very clean. Superior laundry service if you want to pay for it."
