"Upon our arrival, an employee greeted us and helped with luggage. The public area was elegant and displayed so many beautiful artwork and antiques. Being at the top of a hill and by the ocean/bay, the view was gorgeous especially during cherry blossom season. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection mainly Japanese food including pacific lobster miso soup. There was a spacious coffee/tea ( snacks) area with the same beautiful view. "Total relaxation and we'll needed downtime. The staff at this were wonderful and welcoming. The area was beautiful, the hotel looks out onto sweeping mountain landscape. We enjoyed the indoor onsen and slept soundly in our traditional accommodations. The food was very impressive, so carefully presented and delicious. We ate breakfast and dinner here but also tried some restaurants with walking distance that did not disappoint. A remarkable experience, thank you for your hospitality. "

"Nice property and its surroundings. It’s great place to get away from the big city life. Quite Zen like. The location is far from Nagoya station I might add. Nevertheless it’s a nice place."

"This ryokan is good value for money. Having stayed in several ryokans, this ryokan is average. Service was good and facilities were decent with an interesting Pearl Onsen.
However, the kaiseki dinner was a bit disappointing. Paid extra for the Matsusaka beef menu but the dinner was average and not worth the money paid.
If you want to stay here, I would recommend to just take the basic dinner package. "

"Great hotel to stay at in Toba. Location is close to the train station as well as other activities including the Mikimoto Pearl Island and the Toba Aquarium. Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. There was a variety of food at the buffets and delicious. I would recommend this hotel to others. "
"The hotel was exquisite! Comfortable beds and modern decor. Extremely comfortable. We got breakfast with our stay and we're so glad we did. What an amazing spread! The only thing lacking was juice. Highly recommended!"
"We had a very pleasant stay - the staff were kind, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the breakfast buffet and the closeness to the train station. "
"Beautiful ryokan within walking distance to Ise Grand Shrine. Exceptionally clean and quiet room with tatami and private outdoor bath. We utilized the amazing interior private onsens for a relaxing soak. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and served by a very polite, gentle spoken and attentive young gentleman. There is no better customer care than in Japan."
"The area is famouse for the best Matsusaka Beef. Great restaurant is within a walking distance. Convenience store is behind this hotel for any quick bite. Hotel staff is super helpful and friendly. Free breakfast included the local dish, which is a nice touch. Truly enjoyed the stay! "
"Very nice staff and nice spacious rooms. Only down side is it's not very close to any transit so it's a bit of a pain to get around. But there is a 24/7 grocery store right behind the hotel which I found to be wonderful."
