"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family.

"These guys are coming out of a natural disaster that has threatened their economy. They rely heavily on tourism and it felt really good to be supporting these lovely people simply by being there. There are signs of difficulty from when you land, but arriving on Iririki Island you see it hasn't been damaged and they are working hard to make the stay enjoyable. The people are laid back and so friendly. We had a great relaxing time. "

"Quiet, peaceful, but exceptionally good value. Continental breakfast provided was not great, but we had cooking facilities and it was easy to buy some eggs and bacon. And we brought our own coffee. "The breakfast was pretty basic, but basically good enough. There were 4 kayaks, unfortunately 2 were missing storage covers so would likely fill with water. The other 2 did not have these storage areas so we're fine. The water is calm in this area making a paddle most enjoyable.
Being a cyclists I was happy to read they had loaner bikes. I was disappointed to see the biggest of them were bmx type bikes. Better than nothing though so i checked them out to find some were missing parts, had flat tyres or were broken in other ways so none were safe to ride. Unfortunate,but I guess with the state of the roads bikes break.

Caroline & Damien were very welcoming & are willing to help with booking excursions. Only set back - lack of transport on the remote roads so bring some food & snacks. Bungalows have kitchen facilities & BBQs are available. Food in the on-site Birdies Kitchen & Bar was very good."

"It was paradise. I relaxed in an instant. The accommodation was perfectly designed so that you had your own slice of the beach and views with no one else in sight. They were equipped with air con and fans, fly screens. As a coconut fell from the tree, staff would open it for you. Could not recommend this place enough. A perfect balance of solitude - you could socialise at the restaurant if you wanted to, superb snorkelling off the beach or a boat trip to one of the local islands whenever you wanted. The food was also 5 star!"
