"I can’t recommend Rhino Coast Guest House highly enough.
On arrival we were very warmly met by the owner Don who was incredibly informative, helpful and enjoyable to talk with.
Don was also super helpful with some car rental issues we had.
The accommodation is very comfortable, the rooms are really tastefully decorated and a very comfortable bed.
The location is brilliant, close to all restaurants in the Main Street and also to the beach.
The breakfast was so generous and one of the best we had...

"Very nice guesthouse and hosts. Guesthouse was newly built, is in an extraordinary good condition and was opened not a long time ago. We had a spacious family room with a very big bed. Breakfast was excellent quality. Freshly baked muffins from Melissa, eggs on request, an assortment of (real) cheeses and slices of sausages.
When we arrived we had a very warm welcome. We had a welcome drink and Melissa's dad drunk a cool beer with me. Also organized a stunning whale watching tour for us."

"When I arrived at the hotel with the confirmation, the owner told me that he had received no reservation from Hotels.Com and had no room for my party. I had to borrow money to stay at a more expensive hotel. "

"We stayed 6 nights in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable but not quite what I expected for deluxe. It was comfortable and clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were the best we had on this trip to KZN. The outside area is very pretty and we enjoyed having our breakfasts outside."

"Great house with superb staff. The house has a nice garden, a pool (not heated) and a fire pit plus braai. It has a covered patio, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a double garage. The house is very secure. Everything is in perfect shape, well maintained and cleaned daily. Close to town and just across the street is a small park where the hippo’s graze at night! "Wifi was disappointing as only 1 device could be connected at a time and the wifi was available only in the lounge area. The main bedroom bathroom does not work properly.
However a good and reasonable stay for families and close to all of the restaurants and entertainment. "

✅ Great Location – Close enough to St Lucia’s attractions (like the estuary and restaurants) while still feeling secluded.
Highlights:
The tranquil ambiance—perfect for unwinding.
The lodge’s charming design, blending nature with comfort.
We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend Leopard Tree Lodge for anyone visiting St Lucia—whether for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. We’ll definitely be back!"
"Bhangazi Lodge is a lovely guest house in central St. Lucia. My room was large and clean with its own bathroom, a slider to the pool, TV, and a refrigerator. AC was excellent and they had power available even when the town power was out. Kettle in the room as well.
They served a hot cooked-to-order breakfast which was included and delicious. Also coffee, tea and bottled water were always available.
Walkable to the town and the beach, but at night you have to drive due to the hippos wandering the streets. There are a lot of restaurants very close. There is parking at the building behind a gate. Very secure.
The host Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and what to see and do.
I highly recommend staying here."
"We booked a last minute stay at Perna Perna and were very happy with the value of the accommodations. The staff were accommodating and sent thorough communication prior to arrival. Check in and Check out were easy. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable."
"Leopard Walk Lodge: A Perfect African Retreat
After a demanding business trip from the USA, Leopard Walk Lodge was the ideal place to unwind before my 30-hour flight home. With a small number of luxury lodges, each designed for complete privacy, it offers a serene escape in the heart of the African bush. The accommodations are beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could need, including excellent WiFi. However, it’s the stillness of the wilderness that truly soothes the soul, inviting relaxation and rejuvenation.
The staff’s hospitality was exceptional. From the flawless check-in and check-out process to their warm Zulu smiles, they made me feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured every need was met effortlessly.
The food was outstanding, with both breakfast and dinner showcasing home-cooked quality and local flavors. Service during meals was attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall sense of comfort.
Whether relaxing on my private deck or exploring the nearby paths, I was immersed in the peaceful beauty of the bush. Watching the sky shift at sunrise and sunset was magical, reinforcing the lodge’s calming atmosphere.
Leopard Walk Lodge offers the perfect combination of luxury, privacy, and connection with nature. For anyone seeking a true escape, it’s a place to reset, recharge, and leave feeling refreshed and ready for what’s next."
