"Very friendly staff. despite electro outage, theytried their best. Clean ample rooms. Most convenient overnight for visiting Eltz Castle. Surroundings provide excellent hiking possibilities. Otherwise it is just a 20 min drive to the Mosel with more activities over steep windy roads. "

"Welcoming and very easy-going staff, very clean, good warm shower and the facility is well kept overall. The surroundings are picturesque and very calm. Their restaurant is just couple of minutes away and is a gem. I highly recommend to go there for a dinner you will not regret, the food is just delicious. You will have your breakfast in the same place and the breakfast itself is a special event. Free parking with plenty of space. Great place, thank you for a nice stay. "

"It was all PICTURE (amazing views) PERFECT (see attached photo of the view from our room). The restaurant…we had two dinners and three breakfasts. It was all divine. The wait staff was very professional. Overall an incredible property. If it is on your radar as a “maybe”, then you need to book it and make it a “definite”!"

"Beautiful breakfast room, adequate breakfast options, excellent coffee...Great price! All hotels areas...hallways, entry, room, bathrooms...all very clean and aesthetically pleasing and comfortable! Our mattresses were a bit soft/saggy, but that is a personal preference. Hotel staff, very friendly, accomodating and made us feel at home and welcome. On the Mosel River, the castle can be seen off in the distance."

"Sixth stay over recent months. Breakfast is continental and is very good. No full restaurant in hotel. Staff are non- resident but live nearby. Offer clean, well kept facilities, trimmed down to necessities; eg no phones in rooms etc. free Wi-Fi is effective. "

"We stayed in a separate place a short walk from the hotel. A beautiful, large living room with a gorgeous view of the water. Loved how quiet it was there and the walkability of the town to go eat dinner. Would need a car to drive to other towns instead of taking a train but I can't really give opinion on train accessibility since we had a car."

"This hotel is accommodating to international travelers. The staff speaks English well. The breakfast was delicious and varied and the restaurant offers a variety of dishes and beverages. The room was clean and unique - it had two levels with a spiral staircase! The view of the Rhine out my window was nice!"
