Bed had a low metal headboard so it was very uncomfortable to sit on the bed and read or watch television. There was no chair to sit on. "We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is small, more like a restaurant with rooms and is very traditional in feel. It takes around 20-25 minutes to walk into the town of Mayenne along the river. Breakfast was good and we had dinner in the restaurant one night which was very good. Staff are polite and helpful. There is a small bar near to the reception area, although beer is expensive. It is a great place to sit outside with a drink, watching the wildlife on the river. The weather was hot when we stayed and being an older style property, there is no air conditioning or a fan. As it is such a quiet area, we were able to open the windows overnight. If visiting this area again, I would certainly stay here, although not in July or August, when it is likelier to be hotter than it was when we stayed"

We weren’t comfortable staying there so we stayed here. It was the right decision. Definitely not a bad place and I won’t talk bad about it but I do think they could change a few things. That is all"
