"We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We don’t usually choose half board but we are glad we did! The first night there was a buffet in the garden, of local food, this was the best buffet I have ever had, everything was so fresh and tasty and there was lots of vegetarian choice. We ate off the a la carte menu our other 2 nights, which again was amazing food, with lots of choice, as was breakfast. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is only a 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Otranto. We had a standard room, the only criticism is the bathroom could do with a bit of an update, the shower wasn’t great with poor pressure if you had it on warm. There was live music and dancing one night and we enjoyed the tour of the underground Oil Mill and Olive Oil Tasting which was provided by the hotel. "

"This was one of my favorite places in Puglia! The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and warm. The room was gorgeous as well as the grounds. The breakfast was spectacular… it had everything including very freshly cut up fruit. The cappuccino machine made amazing coffee. The location was walkable to everything. She recommend a restaurant for dinner with fabulous views and was only a 5 minute walk. This was a very last minute booking and was a very good value. I will definitely return. "

"Hotel is in nice location on the beach. However some staff were a little standoffish & not very attentive. Solo traveller rooms are ok size, beds are small singles not very comfortable. Showers are exceptionally small, I have been on cruise ships with bigger shower space. When door is closed there is very little room to manouvre or wash properly. Location of single rooms right next to lifts, therefore guest movement, children screaming, running along corridor made for a very restless stay. Very little in the way of food and beverage services and due to remote location, car is needed to drive to nearby restaurants and bars most of which 10-15 minutes away. Buffet dinner at hotel is €35 per day. Sorry but I would not stay here again. "

"Our stay at Masseria Bandino & Spa was wonderful! The check-in process was quick and the woman checking us in was very helpful. The room was nice and spacious with a great air conditioning. Just outside our room was a little sitting area which was a great place to have our morning coffee. The pool area is beautiful and open to guests 24 hours a day! It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. We greatly enjoyed our stay!"

"Loved the entire property. Nice rooms, pool, parking, and breakfast. There were 2 large groups staying there so they needed to figure out the dining a bit better. A group of 100 and another 35 were there so they set up for dinner for them and forgot about the other 10-12 guests but eventually ( once said we needed a place too) set up some tables outside for us."

"Oh my word! Amazing, I Booked this property only because of its location. From the lobby displaying vintage vehicles, and antiques, as well as local artisan creations. To the grounds that were immaculately maintained. Entering the room itself was also an experience, very modern, very simple, very elegant. We asked about the lovely scent of the room, “simply the cleaning products we use, all natural.” And the breakfast, 360 degrees of wonderful fruit, pastries, and savoury goodness. Traveling late in the season we unfortunately were informed the restaurant had closed for the season, I am certain it would have been worth a visit. "

"Lovely hotel and good value off season as limited facilities available. It was great as it was nice and quiet. Beautiful sea views and location. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of disappointments - the balcony had a very high front so when you sat down you couldn’t see the view! The sides were low so very open to neighbours and anyone smoking on their balcony. We had to keep the doors shut at times to keep smoke out of our room.( We were told we couldn’t swap rooms ) Also worth noting that all the balconies were in the shade in the afternoon when we visited in late September. "

"My first impressions were that this is a well- appointed and sophisticated resort. The design is beautiful, but be aware that the entire resort is terraced off into multiple levels, so there is lots of stairs. However, there are some strategically located elevators for those that have trouble navigating flights of stairs. My stay was during the first weekend of October 2024 and little did I know, that this is already considered the “off-season“. While that means more affordable lodging rates, it also means a muted vibe and a reduced level of services I’d expect in a 4-star resort. Moreover, the resort is situated outside of town and a visit to the seafront, restaurants , and shops meant a 15 to 20 minute walk. While the resort does have a shuttle van, it was not in operation to transport guests to/from the seafront or the train station (I walked a mile/1.6 km with luggage from the station on check-in day). Uber was not available and no local buses were running in October. The on-site restaurant was mediocre, with the exception of the breakfast which was great! There are 2 tiny bars, but a full-service lounge is needed. But despite these criticisms for the resort as a whole, I must say that ALL of the staff I interacted with during my stay was friendly, professional and accommodating. They exhibited pride in what they did for guests. Overall, I would still recommend a stay here. But be sure to ask a lot of questions about seasonal services before you book or visit. "

"We had problems with the AC and couldn't sleep well. However, the next day the manager moved us to a much better room. Although there were no activities for kids (most of the clients were families traveling with kids), the hotel was clean, well-maintained, and new. The food was really good, and the server Simone was so helpful and friendly that it made our stay incredible!"

"Do not stay here! We had to leave this place on the middle of the night! Dirty place, NO A/C no towels, smelly bathroom, everything was discussing. No front desk terrible customer service. I’m still trying to get a refund from this terrible place!! Stay away!! "

"It was absolutely gorgeous. Was our third trip to the Puglia area, and to discover a place like this … lovely, modern and with immaculate pools was such a treat. Yes the pool is a few minutes walk from the main hotel, but isn’t that sometimes the case with big complexes? And if you don’t want to walk, a shuttle is available. The pool and shuttle are both included, so no extra cost. Lovely selection of drinks at breakfast, aswell as cereals, pastries and a bit of an Italian spread. The balcony was huge, gorgeous view of the sea with lovely furniture. Our apartment was 2 bed, so no having to set up a bed in the living space. The reception staff spoke great English and helped us discover local places we wanted to visit. We honestly loved this hotel, it was the perfect end to a multi stay break."
