"As good of a hostel experience you can get, lovely staff and cleaners, even gave me a lift to the station after checkout, can’t recommend this place enough!"

"It was close to the national park. I loved the vibe of the small town, rooms were dated but clean. Added to the ambience of the town. The onsen was nice. Parking was easy. Close walk to everything."

"Pleasant small hotel. Onsen is nice. There is a second one outside, which can be accessed by a door at the main onsen. No bathroom in room. Was adjacent to a smoking room which was annoying"

"Very old building, no A/C, tatami is dirty, outdoor public bath is full of dead flies and indoor public bath surrounded by mould
Apparently need maintenance and renovation
My husband and I couldn’t sleep all night because need sharing of bathroom, wall and door of room is too thin that hear everyone walking and talking when they pass by, that’s too noisy
Only pro is they include dinner and breakfast ( but don’t expect too much on the food )"

"The staff are very friendly. We kept the luggage at reception because it was still early to check in. When we are back to hotel they informed already helped us to put the luggage in the hotel room. Fantastic service. Thank you!"

"This is nice place to stay in Abashiri. It is right in the middle of town with a 7-11 across the street, on-site parking, and multiple restaurant options within walking distance. The service was very good with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The bed was small (a full size not a queen), but comfortable. The air conditioner did not work. The room was exceptionally small. I would stay here again, as long as the room had a working air conditioner during the summer!"

"Service was wonderful. Person who checked us in was very understanding of my limitations in the Japanese language. His English was very good. Very welcoming atmosphere."

"Good basic hotel with very little immediately around it. 10+ minute walk to where most of the restaurants are, small town Japan problems. But the hotel, no complaints."
"The person I was traveling with felt the room was claustrophobia-inducing. It is a small room and only has small window at floor level. We checked out and found another hotel. "
