Please be careful if you are choosing this specifically for the spa as it has restrictive hours, and extra cost, and the facilities are overcrowded and not like the photos. Habitación con lo imprescindible y un baño y presión de agua perfecta para una buena ducha y buen precio. Dormimos y descansamos genial. Pusimos el cartel de no molestar y entraron sin permiso a hacer la cama sin apenas limpiar. Pocos detalles, pedí el primer día leche de avena y de los cuatro que estuve no compró, pero si me cobró por 4 cafés y una tostada sin nada, 16 euros. "

"We had a good overnight stay at this Hotel whilst touring around Spain on our motorbikes. The Hotel is beautiful & well located close to Penafiel Castle, Protos & various restaurantes. It has a lovely swimming pool. The Spa was closed when we visited. It also benefits from having its own restaurant and a good bar in an enclosed outside courtyard. You have to pay for parking but at least it is secure. Would happily stay again. "

"Polite staff, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, comfy bed, the hotel is ideally situated just off the motorway with plenty parking spaces and charging facilities. Bar/restaurants are within walking distance for dinner.
Its an ideal stopover en-route to the ferry ports of Santander or Bilbao. "
"We had the most amazing time at Finca Valdobar! We stayed in the Torreón Apartment, the largest of the four charming units on the property. The entire finca is peaceful, welcoming, and full of character.
Félix, the property manager, was incredible. From the smooth check-in to his spot-on recommendations for local food and wine, to the extra thoughtful touches that made our stay so special. One morning, he even brought us freshly baked bread, and when we arrived, he had stocked the fridge with cheeses, ham, milk, and orange juice, all included in the price.
The rooms were spotless and the air conditioning worked perfectly, a big plus during the warm summer days.
We were on a family trip and our daughters had a blast riding the bikes provided by the finca into town and enjoying the pool. It was a perfect weekend of relaxation, comfort, and discovery.
We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended."
