"Very nicely situated accommodation. We stayed in the “Garden Lodge” which was nicely decorated. Staff at the lobby was excellent and very helpful. The staff in the dining area was even to European standards somewhat tardy (e.g. 20 Mins wait for coffee at breakfast, 50 minutes wait between two course meal). The overall experience was very positive. "

"We stayed in two different rooms. The first room was on the top floor and very small with a slanted ceiling and the bed was a small double bed so we weren’t that comfortable. The second night we stayed in one of the bigger deluxe rooms on the first floor, which was much nicer. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. "

"We loved our stay in room 5 at The Tables! The service was excellent and very attentive. Stuart and Janet are wonderful hosts. The baked goods and coffee/tea at the front desk made our stay even better. Janet makes some delicious goodies. I had millionaire shortbread a couple of times a day and my husband had other cookies and sweets. The breakfast was made to order and there were enoigh choices for everyone. We walked to delicious restaurants nearby. This was a wonderful place to spend 2 nights of our vacation and we will gladly come back again for another stay. "

"It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. "

"This was a beautiful rural property with lots of character. the road in was a single lane road with lots of potholes, but once entering the property the driveway was great with easy parking. rooms were large on a courtyard configuration. On site restaurant served excellent food and staff was outstanding . The complimentary continental breakfast was awesome and a lot more then we have experienced in other establishments. An outstanding stay and will highly recommend."

"Sleeping in a distillery was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. A complimentary whiskey in a room was a pleasant surprise. Island is very walkable and views are amazing. The only downside is room was on a small side but it worked for us since we had two smaller bags. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. "
